Laundry Facilities
All houses have washing machines and outside rotary dryers or clothes poles. Several washing tablets are left for guests. All have a tumble drier which we ask guests to use sparingly, for a final “fluffing up” only. We offer a wash, dry and ironing service separately if required.
Are Dogs Allowed?
Dogs are welcome in both of our properties and are subject to a £35 charge to cover additional cleaning costs and our guidelines. They must remain out of the bedrooms and in public areas only. Also, they must be towelled down before coming indoors. There are beaches close by all the properties where they can be exercised.
Is there a Hot Tub?
A hot tub is an option in Iolaire Lodge at an additional charge of £85 per week and it will appear as an option when booking if available. From the end of October until April it is unavailable, the pumps being filled with antifreeze and tops securely lashed down.
Is there Outside Storage?
All properties have access to a shed for storage of bikes, golf clubs and outdoor clothing etc.
Are Bedding & Towels Provided?
Yes they are provided. If staying for more than a week then this will normally be changed once during your stay.
Is Electricity & Heating Included?
Yes, subject to fair usage.
Is there a Travel Cot & High Chair?
Both are available on request.
Is Parking Available?
Free parking is available at each property for 2 vehicles. Additional parking may be available on request.
What is your Booking Policy?
A deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking accommodation, with the balance payable six weeks before the arrival date. Full payment is required at time of booking for bookings made within six weeks of arrival. A “booking” will be held for 48 hours to allow the deposit or full prepayment to be made as appropriate.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
In the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking, we will endeavour to re-let the property and refund any monies paid. If the re-letting is done at a discounted price, this discount will be removed from any monies refunded. If unsuccessful in re-letting, the guest will be required to pay the balance of the rental in full (if not already paid) or will not be due any refund if the booking has already been paid in full by them. Travel Insurance may be advisable.
What are the Check-in and Check-out Times?
Departure is by 10.00 a.m. and arrival from 16.00 p.m. Circumstances may allow these times to be amended by prior agreement where possible to accommodate guests individual travel arrangements. We will endeavour to be flexible, but please remember that should guests wish to travel on the second ferry, the next guests might well be arriving on the inward sailing!
What is the Smoking Policy?
Guests who wish to smoke are requested to do so outside the buildings and to use the wall mounted bins to dispose of their cigarette ends.
Do you Offer Short Breaks?
We offer short breaks (minimum 3 days) from mid-August until June, so please do get in touch or check availability online.
How do I Know the Status of my Booking?
Online bookings remain provisional until you receive email confirmation from ourselves.
